The Pakistan Nutraceutical Manufacturers Association (PNMA) recently held a productive meeting with its South Region members, representing Karachi, Hub, and Hyderabad. The session aimed to strengthen communication, gather feedback, and discuss regional challenges faced by nutraceutical manufacturers operating in southern Pakistan.
The meeting was attended by several esteemed members of PNMA, including key representatives from leading nutraceutical companies of the region. Convener Mr. Siraj and members of the executive committee led the discussion, highlighting PNMA’s ongoing initiatives to support local manufacturers through regulatory engagement, technical guidance, and advocacy with relevant government authorities.

Participants shared valuable insights on improving coordination with DRAP, ensuring compliance with new regulatory guidelines, and fostering innovation within the nutraceutical sector. The discussion also emphasized the need for a unified approach to address market accessibility and quality control measures in line with PNMA’s mission to promote safe and effective health products across Pakistan.
Mr. Siraj appreciated the active participation of all South Region members and reiterated PNMA’s commitment to act as a bridge between industry stakeholders and regulators. He encouraged members to continue collaborating and sharing practical solutions that contribute to the collective growth of the sector.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of unity and commitment among participants to strengthen the nutraceutical industry through mutual cooperation and continued dialogue. PNMA will continue conducting such regional engagements to ensure all voices are heard and the association’s policies reflect the realities of the national market.
